The Wing Snob Story

Wing Snob was born out of pure obsession. Founder Marcus Cole spent years chasing the perfect wing — testing hundreds of sauces, perfecting frying temperatures, and sourcing the freshest ingredients — all from his home kitchen in West Chicago, IL. When friends and neighbors kept asking "where can I get more of those wings?", Marcus knew it was time to share his passion with the world.

What started as a small pop-up at local events quickly evolved into a full-service wing snob destination. Today, our West Chicago location serves hundreds of satisfied customers every week, with a menu built around bold flavors, quality ingredients, and that signature crunch you can't find anywhere else.

The wingsnob Journey

From a home kitchen experiment to a beloved West Chicago restaurant — here's how Wing Snob became a household name.

2016

The Obsession Begins

Marcus Cole starts experimenting with wing recipes in his West Chicago home kitchen, testing flavors and perfecting techniques on weekends.

2018

First Pop-Up Success

Wing Snob debuts at a local block party and sells out in two hours. Word spreads quickly through the neighborhood, and demand begins to grow.

2019

Brick & Mortar Opens

Wing Snob officially opens its doors at 200 W North Ave, West Chicago, IL. The first week saw lines out the door and rave reviews from the community.

2021

Menu Expansion

The menu grows to 30+ wing flavors, including seasonal specials, plant-based options, and signature dry rubs that become fan favorites.

2023

Delivery Launch

Wing Snob launches its own delivery service, bringing those same bold flavors directly to customers' doors across the greater West Chicago area.

2025

10,000 Happy Guests

Wing Snob celebrates serving its 10,000th unique customer — a milestone that reflects the community's incredible support and our team's dedication.
